TNL aims to make policy proposals that would result in fairer, more caring, societies, both at national and European level. Adopting a strong ideological approach, Terra Nova London intends to analyse the issues pertaining to life in society and the meanings of solidarity and social justice.
Many issues underlie social behaviour and societal life and these are not straightforward subjects to tackle. Reference is often made to the “broken society” or the generational divide but such topics cannot be understood without considering issues of security, secularism, culture, sports or immigration.
Themes of « solidarity » and « social justice » are broad ones and relate to topics such as equality, respect, abuse, poverty. These questions will allow TNL to develop its progressive agenda.
